COVID 19 – Insurance coverage, what security it provides for liability, business interruption and other issues
A special webinar for FIDIC member associations and their member firms
Date: Tuesday 21 April 2020
Time: 12 noon to 1.30pm (CET)
A major area of concern for the engineering and construction industry is the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on contractual arrangements between all parties, promoters /sponsors, clients, investors, designers, contractors and others in the supply chain.
Liability and insurance are key pillars of understanding and managing risk and are key within the standard FIDIC forms of contract. This webinar will explore how insurance and liability issues within the FIDIC forms of contract may operate during the Covid19 pandemic and what security insurance provides for the project participants.
We have assembled a high-quality line up of expert speakers who will address some of the key insurance and liability-related issues resulting from the COVID-19 crisis. By sharing experiences from across the world, this webinar will offer help and guidance to construction sector firms facing the challenge of dealing with the current crisis.
